Nevada says yes to online gambling

The lure of gambling started in Nevada and this state now wants to invade the online gambling world. Nevada is prepared should online gambling legislation be passed. Everything is ready and set to go. And any steps Nevada will make in terms of online gambling will the stepping stone for other States to follow.

But of course such legislation comes with its load of questions. First and foremost, the online gambling industry must be regulated and that too nationwide as there are fears that should such business become a reality, it February go haywire.
But the Nevada Gaming Control Board Chairman Mark Lipparelli has addressed those concerns by saying that the online business will be so regulated that underage and/or addicted gamblers, poker or other gambling bots, and money laundering or other illegal activities would be spotted and promptly dealt with.

It is now a fact that with modern technologies in place, online gambling softwares are able to detect unusual betting patterns. Also, security wise, players will have to go through an innovative process before making deposits or withdrawals. Meaning each and every player will have a unique fingerprint. It is also true that scams might still take place but it will not happen often.

The legalization of internet poker might come before the one for online gambling. But if online poker is legalized, it will definitely set the way for online gambling legislation. However, Congress lady Mary Bono Mack made it loud and clear that there is no rush into legalizing online gambling. So, even if it is still in the headlines, there is no definite sign of it becoming a reality anytime soon.
